My experience: When I was younger, I did girl scouts. Every girl scout in their life has shown some sort of benevolence. When I was younger i remember helping old people cross streets, and even during the summer i help people at the VA hospital. I am no longer a girl scout but i still do benevolent things to help the people that were either lost, or hurt. Being benevolent means to have kind feeling or desire to help others. When I was younger that was all I wanted to do was help people. Even now i still volunteer at hospitals and help people that need it.
Connection: The word Benevolent relates to the movie The Bind Side, because in this book, the family knew that the guy was poor and had no family, so they decided to take him into their home and treat him like their own faimly. He had to benevolent towards the family because he knew what they did was generous and helped him a ton. The family bought him new clothes and got him a tutor to get the academic ability that he never had. The family was also benevolent because they cared for him and gave him a new start. They wanted to help him, intended to helphim, and did help him become successful in football, the sport he learned to love and live.
